4. Condolences

31th October: Died today in São Paulo, at the age of 90, Professor of cinema Máximo Barros, one of the longest-serving film clubs in the country. Prof. Máximo was editor of classic Brazilian cinema films, critic and writer.
The Brazilian Film Club Movement honored him at the 24th National Film Club Day, held in Brasília, on the occasion of the re-articulation of the film clubs. Before the Journey they told us that as long as the cinema exists, there will always be a cinema club offering its screen to a good film, regardless of its origin.
More than a great loss for the country, we lost a great man, sensitive, cheerful, sincere, solidary, who leaves his legacy in so many articles, books, films he has assembled and a legion of friends keeps his memory alive
